Dog parks

In china, most people have some problems to choice a suitable place to walk the dog because walking the dog not only have adverse effects on public environment, but also have accidents when walking dogs such as scaring those who dislike dogs, therefore, dogs will be driven away in some public places such as streets and parks. Especially in Shenzhen, a city in China, every park forbidding dogs to enter into from 2013, so it is urgent to build a place for residents to walk the dog. 

Dog parks provide places to walk the dog. In dog parks, there are special design to establish comfortable environment for dogs to play and train, several activities aimed to meet the demands of dogs are created as well.

Dog parks have beneficial for those who like dogs and dog owners. However, there are still some problems. Firstly, when too many dogs in these parks, how to ensure comfortable and harmonious environment because there are too many dog shit. I think maybe it can create a special space for dogs and employ special people to clean dog shit so that public environment is good.

Overall, dog parks are special and important for both dogs and people

Interesting stairs

Nowadays, people would like to use lifts instead of using stairs because lifts are more convenient and timesaving, for disabled, they have to use lifts. However, for most people, stairs can save energy, also it can help to fitness during our daily time.

I saw a video in one of my courses. At the beginning of this video, it showed that in metro passageway, most people chose to use lifts, few people would go upstairs by stairs. Then, some people redeveloped this stair into a piano, which influenced people’s behavior. People noticed that when they go upstairs by the stair, it can make a sound like piano, so more and more people would like to use stairs.

There is another interesting stair. The bookcases stair which is designed by Italian designers Sundaymoring, Massimo and Fiorido Associati. This stair is designed like a bookcase so people can read books during they go upstairs.

It is obvious that a funny stair can catch people’s attention and attract them to use stairs instead of lifts. This would meet the demand of energy conservation, also benefits people’s health and build a healthy habit. Good design of stairs could as a decorate to beautify indoor living environment. Moreover, it can contribute to extra amenities as well as make a happy and harmonious living environment.

I introduced the brief information about LCA last blog. In this blog, I will talk about the function and the shortage in my opinion.

I think most of us have already changed several mobile phones. For me, I have brought 5 phones since my high school because I like researching electronics, so some people like me may not know how to place the old one. Therefore, we can use LCA to help to decide whether we should disposal or recycle phones. Moreover, for toxic research, LCA is a helpful tool to investigate the influences. The stage can follow my last blog.

LCA is not only very useful but also direct because LCA can calculate impact assessment of environment and provide the potential effect of a substance with several data. However, there is no specific data to calculate the results sometimes. For example, we need food consumption data per person per month to calculate the per capita footprint of a person. So if we want to complete the LCA, we should weigh our food? It’s very impractical. Therefore, in this case, the LCA is a bit inaccuracy and may not reflect the reality. So LCA can’t use in rigorous research, which is a drawback.
