Solar cars

Solar cars transfer solar energy to electricity, which are environmental friendly. Moreover, solar energy is a kind of renewable energy, it can reduce greenhouse gas emission and need lower cost.

However, despite it has several advantages, some shortcomings exist as well. Transfer efficiency between solar and electricity is one of the main problems. Due to instability of solar energy, it is difficult to gather solar energy so that cost is high, therefore, it cannot be widely used.

In addition to characteristic of solar energy, solar cars use aerospace materials which are very expensive, technology and application of materials cannot meet the demand of enough power, also solar cars have low weight capacity and low speed. These drawbacks would be barriers to popularize solar cars. However, people should research this kind of vehicle because solar energy is clean and sustainable, it is helpful for some suburb where there are no electricity.
